This is an opportunity to involve a few guests, or the entire group. It is a beautiful addition to a traditional ceremony, or in fact, any ceremony. Nominated guests, the wedding party, or the entire guest list may each be given an individual butterfly. At the moment of your choice, the butterflies are released from a beautiful decorative box, and the butterflies will flutter around, and may land on objects close by, or even the guests... providing awesome photo opportunities. Legend has it that butterflies carry your wishes to heaven and whispers them to the angels.

Hand Binding Ceremony PDF Print E-mail

This ancient Celtic hand fasting ritual where 3 cords are placed over your joined hands, then knotted to signify the devotion, happiness & longevity of the marriage. This is the ideal ceremony to invite special members of your family, or friends to participate in the ceremony. Up to 4 guests can assist in this ceremony. It is as modern as it is ancient.

A themed wedding is limited only by your imagination. Medieval times are a very popular theme, where you can involve the entire guest list by having a dress code and banquet to match! The ceremony & vows can be written in language to reflect the period of time.
Whatever your lifestyle or life choices, there will be a theme to suit you, whether it be just the bridal party or the entire guest list.

For those who want to keep it simple, yet romantic, this is for you. Heart felt vows, beautiful readings from special family members, but basically it’s about the Bride & Groom, and how they feel about each other.

This type of ceremony can take a few different forms, but the basic theme is the same. From two souls becoming one.

Candles: One main candle is lit from two separate candles during the vows of the ceremony

Sand: The bride and groom pour different coloured sands into a decorative glass during the vows, kept as a keepsake.

Wine: The bride and groom each take a carafe of wine and pour it into a single glass, which they both drink from.
